Who we’re looking for
- Previous experience of a technical or commercial field-based role within a customer facing environment which requires proactive portfolio management
- Proven ability to achieve KPIs & targets
- Experience of working across an organization, collaborating with a range of colleagues to meet the customers’ needs.
- Experience of selling and fulfilling digital connected services and/or solutions that improve sustainability performance is preferred.
- Relevant qualification in Engineering, Science, Technology, Business Management or strong evidence of relevant experience within a similar industry
- Relevant post-qualification experience in an industry setting, ideally within a B2B industrial sector.

What you’ll do
- Ethically achieve Sales Targets and Customer Retention, to deliver profitable growth through providing superior value to our customers by timely answering specific customer’s queries, understanding customer’s pains, exploring opportunities for upselling, and assessing customer’s satisfaction.
- Exhibit good Health, Safety and Quality behaviours. Always demonstrate Company Values. Ensure laws, policies & procedures are complied with (Manage).
- Identify and develop opportunities for customer retention and upselling (Seek)
- In conjunction with the other direct sales channels, develop and deliver Call Plans to ensure all customers receive routine and regular contact and that customers in priority sectors are supported to achieve planned growth (Plan)
- Manage Inbound calls and queries from customers (Sell)
About the position
The role of Customer Sales Advisor is to retain and selectively grow transactional customers. This will be achieved through providing responsive support for all inbound sales enquiries and proactively executing outbound sales campaigns.
