Who we’re looking for
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or a comparable commercial qualification.
- Several years of experience in Finance, Controlling, or a similar commercial function.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured, reliable way of working.
- Good understanding of business and financial processes across different functions or organizations is an advantage.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively in international teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and BI tools such as Power BI.
- Fluent English is required. German at an intermediate level is an advantage, especially for understanding and participating in discussions with German-speaking colleagues and stakeholders.
What you’ll do
- Take full ownership of cost center controlling for assigned HQ functions, including:
- Cost planning, forecasting, and standard reporting
- Headcount planning and reporting
- Controlling and monitoring of measures, including account assignments, settlements, and commitments
- Cost reallocations and internal cross-charging between cost centers
- SLA management and settlement with internal and external partners
- Productivity management, including identifying cost-saving opportunities, initiating improvement measures, and tracking their implementation
- Business case analyses (e.g., Capex-to-Opex / Invest-to-Opex scenarios)
- Variance analysis and development of corrective actions to ensure budget and forecast compliance
- Regular business reviews and alignment meetings with cost center owners
- Drive the development and implementation of innovative controlling methods, including AI- and robotics-based analyses, forecasting solutions, and process automation.
- Support the harmonization and continuous improvement of cost center controlling processes across EMS in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Act as the central owner of planning standards and controlling methodologies by:
- Defining and maintaining uniform planning assumptions and cost calculation logic
- Owning and developing cost planning templates
- Serving as the main point of contact for user-related questions and controlling guidance
