Who we’re looking for

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• 3-5 years in similar roles across Controlling / Finance; agricultural commodity experience preferred
• Experience in US GAAP financial reporting and controlling within an international environment
• SAP knowledge – nice to have
• Good command of both written and spoken English
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
• Ability to work independently, having also a collaborative approach

What you’ll do

• The core focus of this role is to manage financial controlling and reporting, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of monthly company figures. This includes comprehensively explaining and analyzing results, adhering strictly to group instructions and policies, and making necessary booking adjustments. Furthermore, the role involves proactively identifying and implementing improvements or automation opportunities for control checks.
• Lead the monthly financial close process in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reports.
• Oversee financial areas including revenue recognition, accruals, and Mark-to-Market (MtM) valuations, ensuring compliance and
• Conduct in-depth analysis of trading results and ad hoc financial analysis
• Execute ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic decision-making and address specific business inquiries.
• Collaborate effectively with the accounting team to facilitate statutory audits and provide necessary financial statistics.
• Actively participate in key finance-related projects, including the rollout or enhancement of ERP systems (e.g., SAP);
• Ensure strict adherence to all group instructions, financial policies, and reporting standards.
