• Minimum 2-3 years purchasing experience. (Automotive preferred / capital preferred)

What you’ll do

• Manage sourcing activities and supplier selection for chemical commodities.
• Lead RFQs, negotiations, and commercial discussions to achieve competitiveness targets.
• Support the deployment of global and regional commodity strategies.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives and contribute to purchasing performance objectives.
• Ensure supplier compliance with Forvia standards related to quality, sustainability, and operational excellence.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when required.
• Support new program launches by securing sourcing, timing, and capacity commitments.
• Develop strong partnerships with strategic suppliers and identify innovation opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
