Who we’re looking for
- Minimum 5 years working experience within the insurance industry
- Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge Casualty product line, the insurance market and competitors.
- Solid experience of dealing with brokers and clients.
- Ability to make own decisions and work on own initiative.
- An experienced professional who is recognized externally.
- Czech – NATIVE SPEAKER
- English - business fluent
What you’ll do
- To underwrite new business and / or renewals according to defined underwriting guidelines, specified budget and local business plan.
- To develop and manage existing portfolio of policies, establish brokers´ and clients´ relationships in Czech Republic and Slovakia. To provide presentations to business partners, manage business negotiations.
- To maintain accurate files, monitor and maintain existing policies.
- Adherence to all internal / external service standards including but not restricted to provision of new quotations, delivery of renewal terms, handling of mid-term amendments, provision of closings to CSU etc.
- To work within the framework of CHUBB ethical and service standards.
- Supporting Multinational Programs in respect of Casualty line of business.
- regular review of the marketing material
- review and update of wordings in cooperation with regional Casualty team
- Keep updated all internal systems.
About the position
Role Purpose: To manage and develop Casualty portfolio within the Czech Republic and Slovakia, implement business strategy in this line by undertaking risk selection, underwriting, administration, handling existing cases (renewals) and developing new business portfolio within this area. To manage and develop relationship with insurance intermediaries cross all segments with special focus on SGB, BIG 3 and Cornerstone segments. Building good relationship with clients.
