Who we’re looking for
- Hands-on infotainment testing, including ECU handling and in-vehicle replacement.
- Test design across complete, delta, quick, and user scenarios.
- Tracing, logging, and defect analysis discipline.
- Minimum two years of automotive experience in a technical role.
- Tools and systems: Codebeamer or the test management system for execution and results; DOORS for test specifications; offboard diagnostic, flashing, coding, and security-access tools; Vector CANoe or CANalyzer with CAPL for bus simulation and analysis; tracing and logging tools; Python for test automation; Git or Gerrit for scripts; GitLab CI or Jenkins for pipelines. Buses: CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet. Standards: ASPICE, V-model.
What you’ll do
- Plan and run complete, delta, quick, and user test cycles on a two-week cadence.
- Prepare and maintain test benches at current software and hardware state and produce monthly status reports.
- Record progress in the test management system and save interim results several times daily.
- Analyze defects, attach traces in the agreed format, and log them with reproduction detail.
- Verify fixes within the agreed turnaround and conduct in-vehicle test drives.
- Deliver per-cycle test reports and statistics.
About the position
Execute end-to-end test cycles for the connectivity (projection, telephony, wlan) functions on test benches and in test vehicles, with full defect capture, verification, and reporting.
