As a Senior Software Engineer for the Observability Storage team, you will help us deliver the future customer experience encompassing all the modern observability signals: logs, metrics and traces. You will leverage AI tools to develop, test and deliver Red Hat’s open-source enterprise grade observability stack. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to take the lead in the design and implementation, while ensuring the quality of Red Hat’s complex software solutions to solve our customers' most pressing challenges. This position exists to provide technical leadership that champions a customer-first mindset and a culture of quality within the engineering team. As a mentor and guide, a primary function is to establish and enforce quality standards, ensuring the team delivers scalable, high-quality systems that create measurable value for our users.

- Supporting the OpenShift Log Storage Loki Operator - LokiStack integration and continued support / troubleshooting, collaboration with other Observability signal teams, Monitoring and Distributed Tracing to optimize user experience, development and enhancements of our logging stack.
- Technical Impact: Leads the design and development of software solutions for a subsystem or component.
- Ensure Software Quality and Reliability: Owns the quality of their code and contributes to testing frameworks.
