This position reports to: SCM Team Lead __ We are currently looking for a Project Procurement Specialist to strengthen the Project Procurement team at EUOPC Ostrava operating for Process Industries Division within ABB's Automation Business Area.

- Procurement Project Execution Assuming overall responsibility for correct and on-time delivery of goods and services procured from global suppliers Managing open orders and maintaining proactive expediting and progress control throughout project execution Coordinating schedule and freeze alignment, ensuring suppliers meet critical project milestones Conducting kick-off meetings and coordinating in
- Meetings Acting as the representative of the procurement team in interactions with project management, sales, supplier quality and the engineering team. Participating in the following meetings: Routine procurement progress meetings Global procurement team meetings Participation in meetings with suppliers during final tendering stage Kick off and regular meetings with suppliers in project execution
- Traveling During the trial period, you may be asked to spend one week in Baden, Zurich area in Switzerland. Following the trial period, you will be expected to visit our colleagues in Switzerland minimum once a year. Supplier visits will be arranged upon special request.
Koho hledáme
- High school / university education (technical field is an advantage)
- Experience as a buyer in the technical field
- English language on the communicative level (daily written and oral communication, minimum B2)
- Be very proactive in communication with suppliers and customers (search and negotiation)
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse range of individuals across various positions and locations
- Ability to manage complex tasks with a lot of unknown variables during project tender phase
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Understanding the processes and organization of multinational companies
- Experience in MS Office – Excel (orientation in pivot tables, etc.) & Power Point
