As a General Ledger (GL) Accountant, you will be supporting accurate and timely bookkeeping activities for the company. This will include posting and processing journal entries, maintaining accounts and supporting preparation of financial statements and annual audit for period end closes.

Co budeš dělat
- Perform GL accounting activities, including complex tasks
- Process transactions, reconcile account balances, calculate accruals and adjustments
- Ensure an accurate and timely period-end close by ensuring all transactions are recorded, journal entries are posted, accounts are reconciled where needed and consolidated at required level
- Analyze accounting records to produce accurate financial reports
- Perform periodic reviews of GL and accounts with GL accounting team to ensure compliance and adherence to internal financial controls
- Support with queries from regulatory authorities and external auditors
- Work with and support the GL accounting team in day-to-day activities and provide guidance and support to more junior members of the team
- Support continuous improvement of the GL accounting processes in the SSC
- Ensure GL accounting team compliance
- Cooperate with other teams – mainly P2P, O2C and Master Data
- Take active part in the planned ERP system change
Koho hledáme
- Ideally 2+ years’ experience in GL accounting operations
- Strong English language skills
- Strong MS Excel skills with a proven aptitude to interpret financial data
- Strong knowledge of finance business processes, accounting policies, and statutory accounting principles to ensure compliant SSC operations
- Working knowledge of core finance systems, ERP and related specialty functional systems, frameworks, and functionality
