- 8+ years of professional experience in accounting or financial accounting.
- Strong knowledge of HGB and German tax regulations.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Experience working with multiple entities and/or consolidation processes.

- Monitor and execute payment transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Take responsibility of the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB.
- Take ownership of the accounting processes of Jobleads and help bring them in-house.
- Work closely with external tax advisors on tax-related matters, including VAT compliance.
- Evaluate existing accounting processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Ensure high-quality accounting standards and timely delivery of financial reporting.
- Support multi-entity accounting activities and be responsible for the consolidation of all three entities.
- Book accounting transactions independently while providing oversight and guidance when required.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business in both German and English.
- Help establish scalable processes and controls that support future growth.
- During your first three months, assess the current accounting landscape, identify key challenges and opportunities, and develop a clear roadmap for successfully insourcing accounting operations.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure alignment and a smooth transition.
- Within your first six months, lead the successful insourcing of accounting activities for the German entity and assume ownership of day-to-day accounting operations.
- Implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and scalability as the business continues to grow.
